Is it. It is? Or is it?

"To be shaken out of the ruts of ordinary perception, to be shown for a few timeless hours the outer and inner world, not as they appear to an animal obsessed with survival or to a human being obsessed with words and notions, but as they are apprehended, directly and unconditionally, by Mind at Large— this is an experience of inestimable value to everyone and especially to the intellectual."

I couldn't agree more with Mr.Huxley there. It doesn't blur,it blinds. It doesn't blind, it Lies. And such is the level of adulteration prevalent in the human mind.

"If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through' narrow chinks of his cavern."

How? Is it because of society's extended sphere of influence in his thoughts and beliefs.? Or can it be attributed to the seeds of doubt sown at a young age by over-zealous parents.? Or is it the due to the negativity and distrust prevalent in the modern age. ?

Ironically,When a certain Jim Morrison fell victim to his own sense of perception at the tender age of 27, one knew it was one of those riddles wrapped in a mystery.
